Members’ Exhibition from the Stroudwater Textile Trust

Water in the Landscape by Jane Ford – a beautifully stitched textile artwork

Stroudwater Textile Trust is proud to present our 20th Anniversary exhibition ‘Wool and Water’. The Stroudwater Textile Trust is committed to promoting the Stroud Valleys’ rich textile heritage and to celebrate past and present textile practice, craft, and art. We have been preserving machinery, keeping mills open for visitors (see below for Mills openings), and telling local people all about the weaving heritage that was so important to this area.

We present our celebratory exhibition with an eclectic mix of arts and crafts that will show the very best work that our members produce from a wide range of disciplines.

Artists taking part will be stewarding the exhibition and will be able to answer questions about techniques used in their work.
